Wear a pretty sundress but make sure it’s not too short and in an appropriate color/pattern.

Just wear a pretty sun dress and sandals… I’ve gone to a lot of USMC Graduations…a lot of girls dress like trashy sluts… its a family gathering, not a club. white summer dress is nice.

Dress nicely, a dress for Sunday for example. After all you will be seeing hundreds of marines who have not seen women for quite some time. You do’n't want to give them the wrong impression with a hot pink top and heels.

i agree with others…just remember that many of the graduates will be checking you out. a sundress, big sunglasses and cute sandals is fine. it’s not formal, but some women take it waaaaaaay to far in the sleaze dept. a sundress always looks cuter than jeans anyway. i wouldn’t wear shorts of any kind.

I have had two children graduate from Boot Camp Parris Island. It is customary to wear your recruit’s battalion colors on Family Day (Thursday) and Friday (Graduation). My advise is to wear something very comfortable. If you are going in the summer wear something cool. Remember to wear your recruit’s battalion color. 1st bat. is red, 2nd is yellow, 3rd is navy blue and 4th is maroon. You can purchase cool shirts with the battalion crest and company name on them at marinepride.com.
