What should i expect after marines boot camp?

Basically i want to know the steps, what should i be ready for, and how long untill i should expect to deploy after boot camp?.
Im planning on talking to a recruiter about it, but from what ive read, they mainly want you to sign the contract and not fill you in with everything.

    After boot camp you go to more advanced training.

    You will be shipped off to some foreign country to act as a crusader in the fight for our divine right to spread democracy. You will be told things to make you want to kill your enemy that are not true and are in the interest of greedy and corrupt politicians. Have fun and try not to get yourself killed.

    After Boot Camp You will go to MOS school and shortly after you’ll be sent to your base. It is a possibility that you could be deployed as soon as you arrive. My husband was deployed 2 weeks after he arrived at Camp Pendleton.

    I am Air Force not Marines, but I can tell you that you need to talk to some Veterans who were in the service for a while and got to know the ropes. The DAV my be a good place to start,.
    DVA = Disabled American Veterans. You can contact them at 1-888-236-8313, and if that does not work, then call information and ask for the nearest Veterans Hospital. There is usually a DAV organization right next to the Hospital, or in it. Also they are in the Clinics.
