What is the age limit for joining the marines?

I really want to join the marines, but once I get out of high school I was planning on going to college. I think it will be in my best intrest to start both at a young age.

18, 17 with parental consent, but if you want to go to school first then do it. You’ll still be able to join, that’s how we get officers.

I am a Marine, and if you were interested in starting both, you can go RESERVES and attend college at the same time

Reserves is a great option. But if you have funding and are already accepted to college; I would go. Find a school with a Navy ROTC program if possible, and sign up. This will let you know if the military’s right for you; it ain’t for everyone.
Worse case you can take any service’s ROTC for 2 years; then transfer over to a school that has an NROTC detachment.
Good Luck, and thank you for wishing to serve your country.
