What is in the daily life of a boot camp recruit, sun up to sundown (Navy, Army, Marines, SEALs, etc.)?

I’m curious as to what type of disciplines, schedules, habits, exercises, foods, educations, etc. it takes to be one of the ‘best of the best’. I hold all the men and women in the military in the highest respect and admiration.

Try this web site for the Marines. It will give you a great idea about what happens and more important why!

Although I can’t speak for the rest of the branches and one that you did mention was SEAL training, here is what a typical day at BUD/S(SEAL) training would be.
At around 4:30am you report in for muster.
After two hours or so of doing exercises and conditionining you head in at 5:30am or 6:00am for breakfast.
After that its two evolutions(intense workouts), swim a couple miles, do the obstacle course, run a couple miles, more excerise and after that its lunch.
At around 12:00am you have lunch.
After that you do 1 or 2 more evolutions.
After that its more exercising and more running, more swimming etc etc.
After that you get a briefing on certain events, subjects and things like that, then you leave for dinner.
A typical day at BUD/S starts from 4:30AM to 9:00PM.
