Wayne, Debbie and I were invited by General Angela Salinas, commanding general of the Marine Recruit Training Facility, San Diego. We had breakfast in her home with her, then Wayne reviewed nearly 600 graduating Marine recruits on the huge parade ground. Deb and I sat with the VIPs while Wayne stood on the grinder as the troops passed by him.
