    That is one of the most illogical arguments I have ever heard or seen. Because the spartans may or may not have been sodomites and were great soldiers we should too. Eh… So because General Patton did not take cover when being straffed by a German plane anyone who wants to be successful and a great general should never take cover from enemy fire. Pretty rediculous isn’t it? Just because some do things the wrong way and it turns out ok does not mean our SOP should be do it the wrong way.

    even if there was a gay recruit, he’d be there knowing what to expect and want training….the last thoughts in that recruits mind would be to shower with other men

    Give it some time, hopefully within a few years youll mature and youll really think about what youll be going up against, and regardless of what religion, political views, and orietnation the recruits in your platoon have, they will be your brothers till death. Good luck.
