Officially named The United States Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon, this unit consists of twenty-four Marines performing a 10-minute precision drill exhibition. They first performed at Marine Barracks, Washington, DC in 1948 as a single performance, but received such a tremendous ovation that it soon became a regular part or routine parades. oorah! great video!we drilled a little bit at OCS, but nowhere near as much as the enlisted guys do at boot camp. they take a certain pride in their drill that really shows. the silent drill team is something else altogether! their skill is amazing. you cannot argue that, so keep your leftist tree hugging comments off of videos like this.

civilians are ignorant, thinking they know everything…i dont think 1/4 of the people who are civilians could last a single day out in combat. now i dont give a damn what civilians say, the U.S. Military should be honored for what they have done to protect ignorant civilians, despite critisism.
U.S. Marines are to be honored, so anyone who doesnt go with me better leave the United States now…your just a waste of precious air.

These men are to be honored for fighting to keep us safe. I cannot understand nor respect anyone who says anything against our country or military. We are so blessed to live here and to have brave men and women to protect us when the call comes. Those that don’t believe this or honor this should find a boat to a third world country and maybe they will appriciate what they have.
