Sometimes I think of the former Marine from another time that stood on the same yellow footprints I stood on that night.
The day you stand in my footprints you better not have second toughts. Killers and Marines stood there once.

DI’s are career Marines and would not risk their careers as Marines to beat the “shit” out of any recruit for whatever reason. Abuse is against the law and a Marine DI would be demoted and kicked out dishonorably if he gets caught abusing recruits. I doubt your friend is telling you the truth.

my friend was medicly discharged with a black eye a broken eye socket, and scars all over his face and body… who cares if the drill sgt can’t hurt you… the others still can… just remember that

LOL! That is what they TELL you. I can guarantee you’ll get smacked a couple times before it is over. I know!
The good thing is that when it is all over, you’ll laugh your ass off about it for years to come.

dude if you join the army/marines/airforce they do an “unofficial ceremony” welcoming you to the club. And it’s painful.

Great vid brings back memories MCRD SAN DIEGO Oct to Dec 1985 Those like KatieHime that have loved ones in bootcamp or deployed around the world, KEEP WRITING THOSE LETTERS they are the most important thing to a young recruit or Marine.

My boyfriend is in bootcamp right now and I’ve heard so much stuff from different people that he will be going through. The things they say are polar opposites…I don’t know who to believe! I write to him everyday though and it’s his second week there.
