The best program to prepare for USMC boot Camp is the one the recruiters use. Talk to them, they will be happy to help you out.

you won’t be doing any particular thing everyday or every week. things change on a weekly schedule to keep you guessing. you won’t for example be spending a hour in the gym every day.

Go to the website and you might be able to find out what is expected out of you. I would be running, do situps, pushup, pullups, anything that you can think of.
You want to be able to do the workouts well and not be called out on for not moving fast enough or unable to perform a task.

be prepared to be physically and mentally overwhelmed every day of your boot camp experience! just keep tucked way back in your mind, IF you are ready, you can be one of americas finest. good luck.

Don’t worry about trying to figure out what you will be doing day in and day out. Just concentrate on doing what you’re told, when you’re told, as fast as you possibly can. There are certain things/rights that you are required to get, i.e. 8 hours of sleep, 20 min for chow, and you should get about an hour a day to write letters or read mail once you’ve been there for a week or two, and you also get to attend church on sunday if you choose. Other than that, everything else changes so much day to day that its pointless to try and figure it out. As far as getting prepared, do as many body weight excersises a day as you can, such as pushups, pullups, lunges, and so on. You won’t be lifting weights in boot camp so why prepare that way? Get it in your head that its all a game and thousands make it every year, and you can too if you just put your mind to it. Good luck.

It’s Marine Boot Camp so you are pretty much exercising the entire time except when the Drill Instructors are conducting a class (and you definitely have to pay attention!), when you are eating (a very brief time), or sleeping (not long enough). Even showering could be considered exercise since you have to be finished very, very quickly.

If you really want to get a good idea how boot camp is conducted, then you might want to read these two books:

    Boot by Daniel Da Cruz
Making the Corps by Thomas Ricks

Some things about the boot camp schedule may have changed since these books were written but they will give you a general idea about how things are conducted.
