In a nut shell it is correct.

    Dillion

EDIT: I dont know why I have three thumbs down? That is pretty much a typical day. I could break it down minute by minute from what i remembered, but the question was somewhat broad.

    Some what…

    Times are a bit off…

And its more physical…and more classroom stuff…

    And its more strict…

But kinda close…this would be more of a ‘light day’…

    And I mean LIGHT…

And if wouldn’t always be this way..

Your somewhat correct..After 0630 you leave a 2 hour gap..There is a lot more stuff which occurs in between all this ..You have a basic time schedule..

After each meal you leave a one hour gap..Meals dont last that long.

Also this schedule goes away when training in the field or on the rifle range..

You get up at 3:00 am and sometimes you don’t get back to the company area until after 1:00 am the next day! Yet you still have to get up at 3:00 am the same day! DI’s do not talk to recruits! They scream and degrade them, they treat them like infinitesimal maggots! You have to get promoted to be considered a recruit! You don’t get two hours to eat breakfast, nor do you get an hour to eat lunch! You have to be finished when the first DI is done regardless if your still standing in the chow line to be served! When they shoot you through your hand don’t go crying to the DI, CO or chaplain! Whiners don’t become Marines!

Typical isn’t a word a Marine would use, one day might be very different from the next. Marines have to go through some very strenuous exercises, like being kept awake for 2 days and expected to run through obstacle courses.
