prepare for boot camp
Crissy C asked:

So this past week I have started working out 5 times a day– each time I work out…which is about 45 minutes set..right now I run a mile, do 50 sit ups, 20 squats, and only 5 push ups ..I need help building upper body strength, any ideas on how to prep me for push ups? I have 3 months to prepare-I plan to increase each week…any work out junkies with ideas? Army boot camp, signed up for 8 years…need work out prep help or let me know if I’m on the right track?

You are on the right track just keep running try to be able to run at least 3 miles non stop before you ship out and at least 25 push ups. Only way to get better at them is too keep going and don’t stop when you can’t do anymore put your butt up in the air but don’t go down when you feel like you can do more keep pushing

Go here, read, and do their Work Out of the Day:. They have a huge following in the US and Canadian Military and with lots of police forces. 3 months of this and boot camp will seem like a joke.
