Marines die thats our job but we live forever in the Marine Corps because the Marine Corps lives forever. Im sure its not as much as the Army because the Army is 3 times as big as us and has more people here. But we do alot of the work. The Death toll, is staggering, and so painful to count. More than 1,450 military personnel and serveral dozen civilian employees of the Defense Dept, have died since the Operation of Iraq Freedom began, 2 years ago. I do not know the correct number of Marines or Military Soldiers who have died in this War, but the estimate is beyond, thought. I am so thankful and grateful for the men who serve and fight for our USA. May God Help these men to help end this War soon. And give strength to those families who have lost a loved one to it.
